The Wyoming State Museum is seeking applicants for the position of Curator of Interpretation.
Essential Functions Include:
Develop innovative and dynamic interpretation themes which are fully integrated into the exhibition design, build, and installation process with the museum.
Work closely with all levels of museum staff to develop exemplary interpretation and interactive elements that will enrich and connect permanent and temporary exhibits.
Develop exhibition content with a clear vision of the access and diverse needs of a variety of different audiences as they relate to the museum galleries.
Assists with newsletter articles, catalog essays, and journal submissions which will forward the message of the museum across our state.
Work in tandem with the curator of education to develop educational themes to tie program offerings to exhibitions.
