Schedule:* Monday ~ Friday | 10am ~ 2pm | < 30 hours/week

Founded in 1994 on the former Lowry Air Force Base, Wings Over the Rockies is a non-profit community organization dedicated to unlocking dreams of flight through exhibits, local events, and educational programming. We are Colorado’s premier Air & Space Museum having been recognized by CNN Travel as one of their 20 Best aviation museums in the world. Each year we welcome roughly 160,000 visitors representing all 50 states and dozens of countries internationally. Exploration of Flight (EoF) is our flight-focused educational extension. This 15-acre campus is located at the Centennial Airport where we offer showcase events with a variety of aircraft, aviation immersion programs, pilot ground training, and flight experiences. EoF is home to our Blue Sky Gallery exhibit and interactive aviation center featuring an airworthy fleet of civilian and military aircraft.
Summary:
The Development Coordinator will help meet the organization’s short-and long-term fundraising goals with specific responsibilities for the administrative needs of the development program. This position will maintain the Museum’s CRM and membership correspondence as well as assist with organizing fundraising events and annual giving campaigns. The Development Coordinator is a member of the Development department reporting directly to the Director of Development and works closely with other inter-departmental teams including Visitor Services, Corporate Events, etc.
Working Conditions:
Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum operates within an 80-year-old aircraft hangar. Exploration of Flight is located at a busy regional airport. Environmental conditions may vary.

Duties & Responsibilities
Please Note: This list is not all inclusive but intended to be a general guide to the primary duties of this position.
-Altru (Blackbaud) CRM database administrator, maintains contact lists, donor info, etc.
-Generate member/donor correspondence (acknowledgments, renewals, acquisitions, etc.) including mailing lists for Museum-wide communications, publications, and membership events
-Maintain integrity of the CRM database including timely and accurate data entry, contact updates, tracking interactions and communications, resolution of duplicate entries, etc.
-Processes back-office membership payments through Altru
-Coordinates departmental mailings including maintenance of the Annual Fund mailing calendar, preparing lists for mail merge, developing content and solicitation strategies, etc.
-Assist in producing regular progress reports to track fundraising results, membership acquisition and retention, pledge payments, event attendance, financial outcomes, dashboards, etc.
-Prepare and coordinate annual giving letters and giving solicitations, acknowledgements, and recognition for members/donors.
-On-site support for occasional fundraising events, e.g. the annual Wings Gala
Requirements
-Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (preferred)
-Altru (Blackbaud) or other experience with CRM database management programs
-Strong interpersonal communication, time management, and multi-tasking abilities
-Exceptional phone presence and email communications skills
-Self-motivated, solution-driven, detail-oriented, problem solver with excellent organizational skills
-Able to communicate professionally and work effectively with a diverse range of clients
-Exceptional oral and written communication skills
-Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize workloads
-Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and other computer software applications
-Familiarity with the non-profit mission of Wings Museum including exhibits and programs
-Must be able to pass a criminal background check and provide professional references
-Must have a valid Driver’s License and clean motor vehicle record (MVR)
