Position Duties: The Summit Historical Society (SHS) is currently seeking a full time , year round, Business and Program Manager to work in our Dillon office. This position will provide administrative, bookkeeping, museum, and program support to Director and perform a variety of duties in support of SHS’s mission. Member of dynamic team building the best museum and member-supported organization.
The position works more hours in summer than in winter, normally Monday – Friday but occasional Saturdays. Applicants should have strong computer skills, and ability to process invoices and payroll (QuickBooks experience required) and experience in customer service. The Business and Program Manager position is responsible for providing excellent customer service to all guests through answering the telephone, responding to emails, greeting visitors, planning and implementing events, education programs, and museum tours. The position is responsible for the membership and donor database as well as facilitating member correspondence, including membership renewal and full acknowledgment letters. We are seeking applicants with attention to detail, trainable and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
