Under the supervision of the Curator of History, complete documentation related to the Longmont Museum’s collections, recently moved from a rented warehouse to a new off-site storage facility. Position performs a wide variety of museum support work and technical collections tasks related to such activities as inventorying of object collections, re-housing or unpacking objects according to conservationally approved techniques, documentation, record keeping and data entry; assists Curator and Registrar with specific collections functions related to cataloging, inventory, documentation, and data entry, and to do related work as required. Position is grant-funded; approximately 530 hours remain on the grant. Position ends when grant funding is exhausted, no later than September 30, 2020.
Hiring rate: $14.50/hr, temporary, no benefits. Flexible schedule 20-40 hrs/week.
