Position: Museum Guest Services Specialist

Pay Range:  $23.53 – $28.34/hr.

Job Description

This non-exempt Museum Guest Services Specialist position supports the Museum’s mission to provide an excellent, educational experience for all guests. This position staffs the Museum front desk and gift shop daily to welcome guests and answer questions, coordinates the Building Sponsor Program, and works with local organizations to bring Frisco’s history to the community. This position is responsible for planning several annual community events including the summer lecture series and the quarterly open-houses. This position is expected to provide exceptional guest service through telephone, online/email, and in-person interactions.

This position requires high levels of communication and participation in a team environment with other team members and managers to ensure seamless, safe and effective operations. As part of the Museum team, this position works special events and holidays throughout the year. Museum operating hours are Tuesday-Sunday 9-5:30pm with some extended hours for events, projects, and programming. This is an hourly full-time, on-site, 40-hour a week position.
