Organization: Buffalo Bill Museum and Grave

Position: Museum Administrative and Operations Specialist

Pay Range: $21.47 – $26.84/hour based on experience and education

Job duties and responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
-Utilizing computer systems to edit, compile, input, and retrieve files and/or databases to prepare a variety of letters, memorandum, and reports, and to complete forms or templates
-Compiling, computing, and generating data for routine business reports as instructed
-Answering, screening, and routing telephone calls and emails
-Responding to information, group reservation, and admission pass requests
-Ordering office, copier, cleaning and other supplies
-Reconciling credit card purchases
-Coordinating front desk services as lead cashier by ordering brochures, creating a monthly staffing schedule for cashiers, and cashiering approximately two days a week
-Serving as a Manager on Duty, which entails opening and closing the museum, covering cashier breaks and lunch, assisting with customer service issues, making cash deposits, and taking care of, or alerting director to, safety issues
-Actively participating on the museum’s emergency preparedness and response team
-Communicating with museum director about safety, operational, and maintenance issues
-Working cooperatively with stakeholders, internal and external customers
-Logging a variety of information and ensuring accurate data entry and record-keeping
-Maintaining files or record systems, updating, and purging files according to procedures, and categorizing information for filing

Candidates with bilingual Spanish-English skills may be eligible for $50 per pay period.
